[aur-requests] [PRQ#35693] Merge Request for arduino-pro-ide
SuperNinja_4965 [1] filed a request to merge arduino-pro-ide [2] into arduino-ide-beta-bin [3]: As of March 1st, 2021 the Pro IDE became open source under the name of Arduino IDE 2.0. Its development is hosted in a new repository located at https://github.com/arduino/arduino-ide. hence this package is no longer needed as a new package was created by another user. Request #35693 has been Rejected by Muflone [1]: the package seems to work still [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Muflone/
Granted the package still works. but it is out of date by quite a bit and the package downloads an older version of the project before it was renamed and further maintained at the link i sent before. the arduino-ide-beta-bin package has the latest version of the project (after it was renamed). arduino-pro-ide is an old duplicate of arduino-ide-beta-bi.
