[PRQ#61129] Deletion Request for droidcam-dev
mhdi [1] filed a deletion request for droidcam-dev [2]: This package is a duplicate of aur/droidcam. The `-dev` prefix in the package name is redundant, since there is no upstream dev release. The main difference between this package and aur/droidcam is that the latter installs the binary to /usr/bin, while this one installs it to /opt. I don't know how you didn't see the difference between the packages, but referring to the -dev prefix, it is for when there are beta versions, pre-release, etc... Em qui., 27 de jun. de 2024 09:25, <notify@aur.archlinux.org> escreveu:

Request #61129 has been Accepted by Muflone [1]: this package points to the latest stable version, so it's not a dev branch [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Muflone/
Ok, I just hope droidcam works without the v4l2loopback-dc-dkms package (that was the difference the -dev had). Em sáb., 6 de jul. de 2024 11:57, <notify@aur.archlinux.org> escreveu:
