I would like to propose a different action, to preserve the package. First, I still have a copy of the tarball referenced in the PKGBUILD, so I can host it myself and update the source url. This will fix the immediate issues. Second, to properly preserve the package and its history, I will try and obtain a copy of the source repositories and mirror them on github, this should prevent any missing source issues. I believe the vmdebootstrap is worth keeping on the AUR for its historical significance, and also because it is still useful and used, even if not as widely as it used to be. Thanks, Andreas
