[PRQ#47126] Deletion Request for pyparticles
MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for pyparticles [2]: Discontinued simple CPU based particle mechanics simulation app written in Python2 and rendered with OpenGL; last released in 2012. I recommend deletion, as it seems not used by anyone. There are maintained and more capable and performant alternatives. I've tried this out. Builds fine, but doesn't work: crashes with Python exceptions because of a ValueError inside one of its core libraries (particles_set.py). Looks like it is not compatible even with Python 2.7. On 9 September 2023 14:41:36 GMT+02:00, notify@aur.archlinux.org wrote:
