[PRQ#67742] Orphan Request for python-branca
lahwaacz [1] filed an orphan request for python-branca [2]: The package pretends to build pkgver=0.8.0, but instead builds _pkgver=0.7.2. A fixed PKGBUILD was provided in the comments, but the maintainer did not respond nor fixed it for 4 months. Thanks for the attention and there isn't a need to orphan this. Previously this DID build 0.8.0, the problem was upstream in the source; i.e. newer code inside an older directory numbering scheme ! (IT WASN"T a build problem per se) - ANYWAYS/NONETHELESS this problem was fixed upstream (after being pointed out to the source code's author) with a very recent (and new) release; version 0.8.1. The upstream corrections allow the PKGBUILD to revert to a standardized format that it once had, a few versions ago. So it is now a.o.k. not_anonymous On Sun, Dec 22, 2024 at 2:48 PM <notify@aur.archlinux.org> wrote:
