Development is continued at https://github.com/pdf2htmlEX/pdf2htmlEX, which corresponds to the AUR package "pdf2htmlex". Since the build process is complicated (involves compiling/statically linking specific versions of poppler and fontforge) it might not be worthwhile to maintain pdf2htmlex-git separately.
