developomp [1] filed a deletion request for brave-dev-bin [2]: This is a duplicate of brave-beta-bin. In fact, visiting the upstream URL https://brave.com/download-dev redirects to https://brave.com/download-beta. Also, there's no such thing as beave-dev in the github release page (https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/releases) either. Request #27033 has been rejected by alerque [1]: This is incorrect, there are in fact two different sets of packages being built upstream: beta and dev. The homepage for the latter has been rebranded as "nightly" not "dev", but it used to be dev and the download files are still labeled that.
