[aur-requests] [PRQ#11986] Deletion Request for php5-pear
Eschwartz [1] filed a deletion request for php5-pear [2]: duplicate of php-pear, not unique to php5 nor with versioned dependency, php5{3,5,6}-pear exist anyway [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Eschwartz/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/php5-pear/
I am sorry, I am new to AUR and arch in general. I wanted to create a script with php-pear installation, but there is a bug in the PKGBUILD File. So I thought I would reupload it with a different name. Do you have any suggestion how i could do that? On Sun, 8 Jul 2018, 11:39 a.m. , <notify@aur.archlinux.org> wrote:

What bug, in which package? And, packages with bugs in them are not permitted to be "reupload[ed] with a different name", since the different name is not truthfully describing what it does. ... Have you discussed the bug with the maintainer of the package? -- Eli Schwartz Bug Wrangler and Trusted User
