[aur-requests] [PRQ#9261] Deletion Request for atom-editor-bin
Lenovsky [1] filed a deletion request for atom-editor-bin [2]: I don't see reason of maintaining precompiled binary from official repository [1]. [1] https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/atom/ [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Lenovsky/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/atom-editor-bin/
To whoever submitted a deletion request: The package in the official repos modifies the package a bit, and as such, bug reports usually will not be accepted upstream. This package aims to keep things as close to upstream as possible. On 26/09/2017 05:03, <notify@aur.archlinux.org> wrote:

Request #9261 has been rejected by Alad [1]: Upstream doesn't support the atom package in community, as it doesn't bundle Electron, unlike this package. See the comments. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Alad/
