[PRQ#71417] Deletion Request for snapper-git
galaux [1] filed a deletion request for snapper-git [2]: Package does not build anymore, has not seen updates since 2016 and an official version now exists in extra. Could safely be removed. For the records, the wiki mentions this package. I can remove the mention once the package is removed. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Snapper#Installation [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/galaux/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/snapper-git/
Request #71417 has been Rejected by Muflone [1]: snapper-git is a vcs package which always use the most recent commit in the git repository. it's not updated by maintainer until the build needs changes. if the package doesn't build write the maintainer, if he doesn't react you can file an orphan request [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Muflone/

snapper-git is a vcs package which always use the most recent commit Yes, I'm aware of the specificities of VCS packages.
if the package doesn't build write the maintainer The maintainer must receive comments on the package so she must be aware it doesn't build. This situation doesn't seem new.
if he doesn't react you can file an orphan request You are reading it.

This was a deletion request, not an orphan request.
