This package is not built from source, but simply downloads and deploys binaries. The Tor browser is open source. This means that you can build it from source. In keeping with AUR tradition, the appropriate name for the package would be tor-browser-bin.

This was pointed out by @yochananmarqos in a comment on April 28, 2023. However, the maintainer has ignored it and has not renamed the package.
