Request #18182 has been accepted by diabonas [1]: Currently this package is tracking the latest commit on master, making it a VCS package. However, it neither has a -git suffix nor a valid pkgver() function, so I am accepting the request to merge it into the newly created wafw00f-git which does have both these things.
