a821 [1] filed a deletion request for fortune-mod-git [2]: A year ago, I flagged this package because of the deprecated git:// protocol, but maintainer have not taken action (note maintainer is not last packager). Today, I tried to fix this package (using the official PKGBUILD) but I couldn't; it depends on software (`docmaker` from same author) that is not in the AUR, that depends on perl packages that are also not in the AUR, so after investing more than I was willing to, I sadly gave up. The fact that there's only one vote and two comments saying there're (were) issues (and no comments after my flagging) makes me think this is not really needed, and besides, it doesn't make sense to keep a broken package around.
