Eschwartz [1] filed a orphan request for dnscrypt-proxy-git [2]: maintainer is unwilling to update this to the latest version, even after having been told that it is being developed upstream again. Using a forked mirror of the old, legacy, no-longer-developed pre- rewrite codebase is simply wrong for the generic dnscrypt-proxy-git package (which is expected to be the latest git development version from the original author). This package needs to be adopted by someone willing to maintain a PKGBUILD for the latest version of the upstream sources. If people still want the legacy 1.9.x release, they can upload a separate dnscrypt-proxy-legacy package and use that, but this would be an unrelated matter.
