MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for gdal-libkml [2]: Though not very old, it is outdated, and seems abandoned. As the same maintainer, @alireza6677 created a new package, gdal- libkml-filegdb on the same day this was last updated. The latter package is capable of everything this was, plus supports filegdb. Also it is on the latest release version of gdal, whereas the former is not. No AUR package merge seems necessary, since there are no comments and this has only one vote.
