It's not marked out of date, there's no comments indicating that it's broken, and I see nothing in the PKGBUILD that should be a problem. What, exactly, is the problem here? You might also want to check the calendar, it's nowhere near 2 years.

Added to that, the upstream source has never seen any release at all, and after the first ever commit to the git repo, the only things that were modified were the vendored PKGBUILD and the README. -- Eli Schwartz Bug Wrangler and Trusted User
