MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge shine [2] into shine-git [3]: Upstream has stopped releasing stable tags since 2017. [a] But the master branch has continued getting enhancements for many years. There are unaddressed issues in both the stable source code as well as the PKGBUILD. I recommend to keep only the git package, which is better configured and has a competent and attentive maintainer.
