MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for gg-git [2]: Package source URL broken, source development stopped in 2019. Seems not needed, this is just a bash script containing some git CLI shortcuts that can be easily replicated with setting up aliases. Request #35708 has been Rejected by Muflone [1]: while I agree with you about its unusefulness, we had a lot of discussions in the past about packages with doubt functions which can be achieved using aliases and we never found a final decision about denying these packages in the AUR [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Muflone/
