MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for klampt [2]: Broken, abandoned package from 2015. Depends on python2, python2-opengl and qt4; also its required krislibrary-git is not buildable (tried to fix the latter, but I don't have sufficient knowledge for it). There are no upstream release tags since 2017. [a] Master branch code is compatible with Qt5 / Python3. An AUR/klampt-git package would be ideal, based on upstream's release cadence. But it would need a maintainer who is comfortable with C++/Qt5/OpenGL build debugging. (AUR/krislibrary-git's build failures seem to be related to the most complicated one among that list: OpenGL/FreeGlut.) It seems not useful to keep this dead package on AUR. Upstream provides prebuilt binaries, those would be the easiest for users to get a hold of (or to create a working 'klampt-bin' from them).
