[aur-requests] [PRQ#7255] Orphan Request for camlpdf
pancho [1] filed a orphan request for camlpdf [2]: Hi! In its current state, it doesn't build. Furthermore, it was flagged out-of-date (2017-01-06), that is, 12 days ago, and no response from the maintainer. The new version (2.2) is required by cpdf, its sole user. I've checked that the package builds cleanly by just updating pkgver to 2.2, making everybody happy. If you orphan the package, I'll fix it, and then orphan it again, since I'm not knowledgeable in caml, so I'm not a good candidate to maintain this if anything breaks. Thanks in advance! Hello, I was a bit busy these days... ..12 days is not too long ago I think. And the new release 2.2 is out since 5 days only. I just pushed the new package. What about the orphan-request? Anothe question: the license is LGPL with linking exception. So, it's not original LGPL. Is this then a custom license? Do I need to change the license-info and release a new package-release? Hi! Sorry, I thought this package was abandoned; obviously, I was wrong.
And the new release 2.2 is out since 5 days only.
Umm, there must have been an alpha sometime before, because cpdf declared a dependency on >=2.2a 9 days ago¹.
I just pushed the new package.
Danke schön!

My apologies, and thanks again for your work. Friendly, ¹: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/commit/?h=cpdf&id=ff9b6854192cbe351b2ffba2d6378fa7b857f826 [...]
