Two same package.

Added both current maintainers to the discussion. Upstream name seems to be Inziu Iosevka, so I think the merge should be done the other way around. However [2] installs .ttc file(s), while [3] install .ttf ones. I’m not sure what are the implications of this, but you should probably get this sorted all together. Regards, Bruno

Iosevka and Inziu Iosevka are two distinct fonts. I cannot think of a reason to merge their packages. Regards, Markus

You’re right, I’ve overlooked it and been tricked by the fact Inziu Iosevka includes Iosevka in some way. I’m thus denying the merge request. Regarding the packaging of Inziu Iosevka, I’m still not sure about the use of .ttc files, and I note that they are ttfs available on the same upstream page. Regarding the packaging of Iosevka, what don’t you package variants? Regards, Bruno

Regarding TrueType Collection (TTC): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TrueType#TrueType_Collection Consider the file sizes: * inziu-iosevka-1.11.0.7z is 55M, 451M extracted * inziu-iosevka-ttfs-1.11.0.7z is 65M, 2G extracted

I am not sure I understand. I am packaging 10 variants of Iosevka: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/?K=ttf-iosevka Regards, Markus

Nice, thanks for my culture. :) And that is well supported by Linux? Awesome!

Oh, OK, I thought they would be in the same package, but it definitively makes sense that way. ;) Cheers, Bruno
Request #7462 has been rejected by ArchangeGabriel [1]: They’re not the same, Inziu-Iosevka includes Iosevka amongst other things. No reason to merge. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/ArchangeGabriel/
