cbrnr [1] filed an orphan request for rstudio-desktop-bin [2]: I'm not actually requesting to disown this package, but the current maintainer Meow is unfortunately completely unresponsive. The package has accumulated several issues, the most serious one is that there is no menu shortcut for RStudio anymore. This means that RStudio cannot be started in the usual way, and the binary is not even added to PATH. Several users, including myself, have pointed out solutions in the comments, but the maintainer has neither responded why he ignores these problems, nor have they incorporated the suggested fixes. This has been going on for several releases now, and I'm submitting this request in the hope that you might be able to contact them and confront them with these issues.
