MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for python-spython [2]: This abandoned, broken package was used earlier as a library for python-sregistry. That had been abandoned since 2020, so it got deleted recently (PRQ#47946). I reckon it is better to delete this as well. Reasons for it: * name is wrong - does not follow Python package guidelines: this is a Python CLI application too, so the name should have been 'spython'. * The comment from 2021 cited test failures, to which former maintainer reacted by disabling all tests. * Orphan. * Last updated in 2022-07. * There's only one comment, and it's from 2021. * Outdated, but no one even flagged this. Better to leave users to install the latest working version from somewhere else, like PyPI. Or if anyone wants to maintain it on AUR, they should submit it as 'spython', not under the current name.
