[PRQ#76902] Deletion Request for opera-proxy-git
you-oopsdev [1] filed a deletion request for opera-proxy-git [2]: The repository may contain a malicious binary file named “topera,” which is disguised as “redsocks” (line 43 of PKGBUILD). If redsocks is required for operation, the maintainer should have specified the redsocks package in the depends array. Request #76902 has been Rejected by Muflone [1]: the topera file content is included in the AUR repo and can be inspected very easily as it's a basic shell file, not directly malicious. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Muflone/
I understand you. To be honest, I didn't even look at it. Why is it there? If it essentially creates a conflict with another package. You already understand what kind of conflict it will cause. And renaming it seemed strange to me, and the renaming itself will cause a conflict in the system. вс, 12 окт. 2025 г., 17:53 <notify@aur.archlinux.org>:
