MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for bats-git [2]:

Please delete this package. It's been abandoned in 2015, and is now an obsolete duplicate (predecessor) of AUR/bats-core-git and Arch/community/bash-bats.

The successor is backwards-compatible with the original bats 2015 version. It is also continually being developed and improved.
