Request #18563 has been accepted by diabonas [1]: Please note that merge requests on the AUR don't work like pull requests: accepting the requests will delete protonfixes-updated-git and transfer its votes and comments to protonfixes-git, but it will *not* change the PKGBUILD of protonfixes-git. To update an AUR package, please don't upload "forks" under a new name. Suggest the proposed changes in the comments of the original AUR package instead and wait for the maintainer to implement them. If there is no reaction from the maintainer within a reasonable amount of time, you can file an orphan request to eventually become the new maintainer of the package.
