MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for hftirc-git [2]: I suggest deletion of this package. It was an ncurses-based IRC client, but the project got abandoned in 2011. There are several issues with the source; cannot be built without a C programmer fixing it. Package was last updated in 2015. There are no user comments apart from my recent notes about the build errors. Safe to delete, nothing depends on it. There are working alternatives.
