Request #10731 has been rejected by Eschwartz [1]: Just because it is old software does not mean it doesn't work or that nobody wants it. It was recently dropped from the repos due to https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-dev- public/2018-January/029103.html but we're not just going to delete it without 1) giving the community a chance to adopt it, 2) actually having a reason to think the package does not work.
