[aur-requests] [PRQ#7235] Deletion Request for python-enum34
Freso [1] filed a deletion request for python-enum34 [2]: The package is only relevant if you have a Python 3 version older than 3.4. The "enum" module has been included with Python's standard library since 3.4.0. The reason the package was added was for the beets-python3-git package, but it is not really relevant for that package, so that dependency is now gone. In the meantime concierge[+] has been added which also depend on python-enum34, but python-enum34 won't actually build on current Python 3 anyway. It also doesn't seem to be used by upstream concierge, so I've put in a pull requestion upstream to remove the dependency from their setup.py: https://github.com/9seconds/concierge/pull/17 [+] https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/concierge/ [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Freso/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/python-enum34/
Request #7235 has been accepted by alucryd [1]. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/alucryd/
