[PRQ#53682] Deletion Request for lib32-openssl-hardened
MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for lib32-openssl-hardened [2]: This package has received negligible attention for years. It never validated the sources with PGP, and since 3 years ago, it has been using an unofficial, unaffiliated mirror server to fetch the sources. Most Arch Linux systems are extremely tightly coupled with repo's openssl due to sudo's hard, versioned dependence on openssl SO libraries. (Failing to satisfy these dependencies make sudo dead, unable to do any operation.) Therefore it is not useful to keep this insecure 'abandonware' PKGBUILD on AUR. Also it is not in high demand: it has only 1 vote. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/MarsSeed/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/lib32-openssl-hardened/
