[aur-requests] [PRQ#11396] Orphan Request for p4vasp
Atraii [1] filed a orphan request for p4vasp [2]: I have emailed karamaz0v on 2018-05-15. There is still no response. Package has been unmaintained for over two years. This would be a useful package for a few of us to keep updated. Could we orphan this package so it can be updated again? The package was upgraded to latest version today. On Tue, May 15, 2018 at 8:23 PM, <notify@aur.archlinux.org> wrote:

Thank you! I'm not sure how to retract the request. I was worried as the package was not updated in 2+ years. (Not that much changes in the life of p4vasp.) Sorry about that. Cheers, Isaac On Wed, May 16, 2018 at 4:07 PM Ariel Karamazov <nihilum@gmail.com> wrote:

Alaso kind of odd that you didn't even wait a day before assuming your email was not going to be answered... that being said, ISTR seeing the package flagged out of date since a few months, which does seem to indicate inactivity... I'm unsure when the old link itself became invalid either. ... All in all, no one was anxious to accept this orphan request! -- Eli Schwartz Bug Wrangler and Trusted User
Request #11396 has been rejected by Eschwartz [1]: It does not appear that there was a new version, hence a need to update, for most of those two years. You should wait longer than "less than a day" before expecting an email reply. Fortunately, this package seems to have been updated and all is right with the world once more...
