[aur-requests] [PRQ#28897] Merge Request for whatpulse
ahmubashshir [1] filed a request to merge whatpulse [2] into whatpulse-bin [3]: This package has been out-of-date for a month, and doesn't follow the convention that binary packages should have -bin suffix. The -bin convention is only required for packages where the source code is actually available to build it yourself.
Request #28897 has been rejected by ainola [1]: Confusingly, -bin suffixes are not required when the product is proprietary (i.e. there is no possibility of having a build-from- source package). It's a backwards thing, I know, but it is how it is. So I'll be submitting a merge request the other way around. Glad to see you got co-maintainership status!
