[aur-requests] [PRQ#20066] Merge Request for chromium-extension-https-everywhere
yochananmarqos [1] filed a request to merge chromium-extension-https- everywhere [2] into https-everywhere-chrome [3]: Duplicate [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/yochananmarqos/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/chromium-extension-https-everywhere/ [3] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/https-everywhere-chrome/
Request #20066 has been rejected by eschwartz [1]: IMO the name "chromium-extension-https-everywhere" is better. The bigger problem is that "https-everywhere-chrome", despite existing since 2013, makes no sense as a package.
This is meant to be run like: chromium --load- extension=/usr/share/https-everywhere-chrome/
It makes much more sense to do as the new package does, and actually, well, make the package do something (i.e. load the extension via chromium's json settings). [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/eschwartz/
