So drop it. Deleting a stable release package because a -git package exists makes no sense at all.
Request #10240 has been rejected by Xyne [1]: Git and non-git versions of the same package are not duplicates. Disown the package if you no longer wish to maintain it. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Xyne/
