[aur-requests] [PRQ#22467] Deletion Request for chromium-incognito
polyzen [1] filed a deletion request for chromium-incognito [2]: All package does is `exec chromium -incognito "$@" `. Short snippets like this should not be uploaded to the AUR. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/polyzen/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/chromium-incognito/
Hi polyzen, Thanks for cleaning up the aur. The package is intended for usage with i3 + dmenu where entries can automatically be derived from files in bin directories. As such even if it is just a oneliner it provides me value across my setups. There is also at least one derived package that uses a similar approach that I know of. If going through with the deletion please provide an alternative that provides identical functionality while also respecting the chromium dependency. - winlu On Fri, 27 Nov 2020 at 23:59, <notify@aur.archlinux.org> wrote:

Add it to your local ~/bin or ~/.local/bin folder. No need to clutter AUR with this. -- Morten Linderud PGP: 9C02FF419FECBE16
