MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for python-sphinxcontrib- napoleon [2]: Included in repo package python-sphinx since v1.3. [a] Current python-sphinx in repo is v7.0.1. The python2 subpackage here is not used by anything on AUR. Please cancel this request. While the package main functionality is provided by python-sphinx, for some applications, installing python-sphinx is an overkill. For example, this package is required by e.g. python-defopt and the upstream author explicitly stated that it should use python-sphinxcontrib-napoleon instead of python-sphinx. Request #43267 has been Rejected by MarsSeed [1]: Revoking, based on feedback by owner @macdems. It seems this package is functional on its own, without sphinx, and it makes sense to keep it for some consumers that don't need the whole mega-suite of sphinx.
