[PRQ#57777] Merge Request for android-sdk
MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge android-sdk [2] into android- sdk-cmdline-tools-latest [3]: android-sdk distribution is EOL and deprecated. Google replaced it with the new cmdline-tools. [a] Only the latter should be used going forward. I don't think there should be a merge at all because they are still appearing as different packages both on android.com and in sdkmanager. One may argument that the newer package may have a "replaces" for the older package, but as long as sdkmanager allows people to install both at the same time, I believe we should do the same as upstream and keep them both available separately.
Request #57777 has been Rejected by Foxboron [1]: This isn't a comment section. Please talk with the maintainer. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Foxboron/
