In what differ from the community package aside that is the official binary?

Sorry but, why do you delete this package? Vault is a security software and the -bin package not is the same that the community one. The -bin package uses binaries and sums provided by HashiCorp and the community one doesn't. In this package, using the official binaries is very important for many people since Vaut is a credential storage software (among other things) and they prefer to have the official binaries and not some compiled by third parties. Please consider your decision and restore the package. Greetings. El vie, 19 nov 2021 a las 6:31, <notify@aur.archlinux.org> escribió:

Please become familiar with the AUR submission guidelines [1]. In particular:
The submitted PKGBUILDs must not build applications already in any of the official binary repositories under any circumstances. Check the official package database for the package. If any version of it exists, do not submit the package. If the official package is out-of-date, flag it as such. If the official package is broken or is lacking a feature, then please file a bug report.
Installing binaries from upstream developers as a feature goes against the very nature of distro packaging. Hope that helps. [1] https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AUR_submission_guidelines#Rules_of_submissi...
