MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for cnijfilter-ip1800series [2]: Abandoned, broken manufacturer driver package from 2018 for a cheap (sub-50$), entry level Canon InkJet printer model made in 2007. Cannot be packaged due to broken and incompatible dependencies (see last comment, from Feb 2023). Generic CUPS / Gutenprint+Foomatic drivers are usually available for printers made during the past 25-30 years. Does not seem worth it to keep this package, and looks like no one is actively stepping up for trying to revive this.
