MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge drush [2] into drush-launcher- git [3]: Drush is defunct as a system installable package since 2019; it has to be installed inside the Drupal project directory. drupal-launcher is a transition convenience solution, to launch and manage Drupal project-specific drush tasks.
