MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for pidgin-light [2]: Fails to build. Last updated for v2.14.12 on 2023-10-30 after my previous deletion request that I've since revoked. Whereas repo's update for the same came on August 7, 2023. The build failure has been reported in comment on 2023-11-18. Apparently maintainer does not attend to this package, nor do they even test the build. As such, it is wholly not useful to keep this minimally modified duplicate of extra repo's pidgin.
