MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for ttf-ibm-plex-mono-git [2]: Abandoned for 3 years, and not useful to keep. As this just provides a subset (only the monospaced fonts) of extra repo's ttf-ibm-plex. [a] The latter offers these as well as the serif and sans serif variants. Upstream is rarely updated. When it receives meaningful changes, maintainers soon publish a new release tag. Which in turn quickly gets reflected in the stable package in repo.
