[a] It's a frontend for espeak, whose official espeak-ng drop-in continuation fork is in repo. But this package even fails to link to that. It is not useful to keep on AUR. There are many alternatives, and even this module has several newer forks on PyPI (latest maintained one is pyttsx4).
