a821 [1] filed a deletion request for gien [2]: Orphan, no votes, 1 old comment, no downstream dependencies. The Github repo is 404 and "gien" project doesn't exist in pypi.org either. The sources are available (see link in PKGBUILD) however, though there's no documentation in the sources. I don't think this is useful to keep IMHO.
