pacman.log can be handy sometimes for restore/repair purpose, if it was always in english, it would be very easy to parse, but having to take several languages in consideration make it much much harder. I agree. Logs and debug information shouldn`t be localized. In addition to this one should get rid of all output libalpm currently does. -- archlinux.de
