If the translations are still wrong in CVS, please submit a patch to fix them. My french is terrible.
And about -U fix, i hope to be this: pacman -Qi pacman Name : pacman Version : 3.0.0-rc2 ... pacman -U pacman-3.0.0-rc2-i686.pkg.tar.gz loading package data... done. checking dependencies... done. cleaning up... done. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Use of the new rankmirrors script on your /etc/pacman.d/ files is highly recommended. Read rankmirrors --help for details. In addition, mirrors are now listed by country, so move those that are geographically close to you to the top and remove the others BEFORE running rankmirrors. [root@x ~]# ls -al /etc/pacman.c* -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1254 2007-03-11 20:32 /etc/pacman.conf
Not write the file.
pacman shouldn't write this file. It's indicated as a backup=() file. It will never be overwritten, and you will only get a 'pacnew' file if the file in the new package and the original file have changed. In this case, the original file and the file in the package are identical.
