Considering you looked at it more recently, would you use freebsd or dragonfly?
Well, actually I am a bit biased. freebsd is more popular and more widely used and everything, and I was quite happy with it the last time I tried it. dragonfly on the other hand, I never went through the install procedure :) I don't remember if it was mostly hardware problems or something else. But anyway, libdownload stated explicitly it was a fork from freebsd libfetch, so that's the main reason I only looked at freebsd version until now. Now that I looked a bit at both : http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/lib/libfetch/#dirlist http://www.dragonflybsd.org/cvsweb/src/lib/libfetch/ It looks like dragonflybsd version is basically an older version of freebsd one. So that would be yet another argument for freebsd. And a last fake one is that libarchive is also freebsd.
