[pacman-dev] makepkg and VCS packages

Hi all, There are a number of bug reports about improving VCS support in makepkg. To address many of these, we really need to give this whole part of makepkg an overhaul. I have create a wiki page [1] where i have made some initial notes and will start filling out brainstorming for ideas on how this could be improved.
