This is an simple patch for remove prefix "::" from messages, all magic chars are in function `info_msg' like "warning: : and "error: " prefixes in `pm_*printf'. It will be better for translators to, and it's first step prepare for colorize output support for pacman. Old email cleanup day...
I agree with the logic here, regardless of the color decision we eventually make. Any objections to (someone) refreshing this patch for 3.6? I'm also intrigued by the lack of a PM_LOG_INFO constant, as we skip straight from warning to debug. It would be useful in the frontend for everywhere we currently do a pm_printf and we wouldn't need separate printing machinery for info-level messages. -Dan
