[pacman-dev] pacman3 backup=()
Please add all needed files to backup array for next RC. I often use local mirror and had to modify pacman3.conf few times. -- Roman Kyrylych (Роман Кирилич)

It probably won't work on the first install as backup sums are not saved from a previous install. In addition, the files are likely not already in the backup array because they could have been changing (see what happened to makepkg.conf). Obviously the testing release where we drop the 3 business and just install in place of pacman will not have this issue. -Dan

cat /var/lib/pacman/local/pacman-rc-*/files 8) Already added it, but, as Dan said, it won't work on first install.

Some of the makedeps can be dropped too if you didn't do that already (ex po4a, etc). I'm working on a "real PKGBUILD" for when we stop the name changing, along with an install file to go with it giving some useful messages. I'll send that out sometime. -Dan
